Saul Sadoch S.p.a. Rex Prodotti Cartotecnici has been producing paper products in Italy since 1914.
Almost all of the products in the catalog are produced in Italy by the various companies within the Group, which have successfully innovated and advanced the market over the years. Born from a centuries-old tradition of production, the various generations of the Sadoch family have always placed great importance on maintaining production in Italy despite the considerable challenges posed by the market, which has increasingly attempted to replace Italian products with imported ones.

We have always faced the market challenges with passion and dedication, thanks to the unwavering commitment of our employees and collaborators, who have made the company a benchmark for Italian manufacturing. The new generations continue this entrepreneurial tradition by investing daily in innovation, quality, and customer service. Since 2007, demonstrating our commitment to the environment, we have installed six photovoltaic systems that produce over 1 MW of renewable energy. During peak operating months, these systems generate up to 108% of the Trieste plant’s annual energy needs, making it energy self-sufficient.
Gift Wrapping Paper
The production of our gift wrapping paper begins with the selection of designs, created by in-house or external designers, with a focus on both fashion trends and classic motifs, to satisfy an international clientele. Once the design is chosen, the cylinders are laser-engraved and mounted on our Industry 4.0 rotogravure printing presses, which ensure high quality even in large print runs thanks to the use of chrome-plated copper cylinders.
The paper is printed on various substrates and in rolls of varying widths, then converted into sheets (flat or folded) or rolls of various sizes, based on the customer's requirements. Our high production capacity allows us to quickly process even large orders.
We regularly invest in innovation, updating our machinery and processes. In recent years, we have increased the use of recycled paper, in line with the market's growing focus on environmental sustainability.
Rex Pack® the New Wrapping Era
The innovative project of a gift bag made from wrapping paper, to meet the increasingly pressing needs for practicality, ease of use, and speed, led to the creation of Rex Pack® in 2020.
Rex Pack® is the innovative gift bag made from wrapping paper that can be used to package any item.
Production takes place at the Trieste plant using in-house-designed processing machinery.
Both the Rex Pack® with adhesive flap and the innovative Rex Pack® with pre-glued ribbon are produced with Industry 4.0 machinery, starting with paper that is printed in-house and then cut, glued, and packaged to guarantee the customer maximum quality and efficient service.
Envelope Bags and Gift Bags
The production of paper bags with twisted paper handles meets extremely high quality standards. Like other departments, this sector is constantly evolving, thanks to ongoing investments in updating printing machines, packaging machines, and warehouses for both raw materials and finished products.
We have ready-to-use items in stock, but we also create customized products upon request. The entire production chain—from raw paper to the finished product—is subjected to rigorous quality controls to ensure excellent performance.
The process begins with the use of white or brown paper, continues with the careful selection of graphics by our designers, and then moves on to printing, using flexographic and web-offset technology. Packaging takes place on automated production lines, right up to shipping, ensuring a complete and reliable service.
Furthermore, since 2023, all paper bags produced at the San Giorgio in Bosco (PD) plant have been certified compostable according to the ENI13432 regulation. An exclusive and one-of-a-kind achievement for this type of product.
Greeting cards and gift tags - Ellebi for Sadoch
With over thirty years of experience producing greeting cards, gift tags, and stationery products, we present a broad and varied selection every year. Our production uses numerous die-cutting, offset, and hot stamping machines, as well as packaging machines, ensuring a high level of flexibility, particularly appreciated for special packaging requests.
This versatility has made us a benchmark in Italian manufacturing in the sector. In particular, hot stamping has been refined over the years to achieve superior quality standards, at competitive costs compared to offset printing, benefiting the final product quality.
Since 2021, with a focus on environmental sustainability, we have minimized the use of plastic in packaging, replacing traditional acetate boxes with recycled PET solutions.
Neutral and personalized napkins
The napkin department is equipped with numerous cutting-edge machines, including Industry 4.0-enabled ones, capable of printing high-quality custom logos. Production stands out for both custom logo printing and plain napkins, making it competitive in both segments.
Over the years, the department has obtained important certifications, including compostability, which is important from an environmental perspective. Investments have focused on both increasing productivity and purchasing innovative machinery, expanding the range of available formats.
With a daily production capacity of over 10 million pieces, each stage is rigorously monitored by expert personnel to ensure the highest quality. Napkins are made from various types of paper, sourced from sustainable European paper mills, and then printed and packaged according to the customer's specific needs.

For over 10 years, the Company has dedicated part of its production to takeaway products, such as wide-bottom bags and gusset bags suitable for contact with food. We offer several products suitable for contact with food and designed for takeaway drinks and food.
